My mom, (Rita Smith) grew up in Alexandria, Egypt until she reached the age of eight . After that  my Grandpa decided to take the 'Tayeh' family to Australia on a massive cruise ship in 1968 to give the family better oppurtunities , education and a safer place to live. It took a month for the family to reach Australia and  start living (firstly) in Melbourne. Grandpa then got a job in Sydney in 1970 for a banking position so my mom and the family all went to Sydney to live . They first lived in a  unit but later in 1970 they moved to Wentworthville and  Grandpa and Grandma have been living there ever since and are still , in 2010. I would like to dedicate this page   to my Grandpa as he is sick from cancer.
