In Egypt the most popular sport is Soccer!Unfourtunantely Egypt did  not make the 2010 soccer world cup in South Africa. Egypt has the 12th best national socccer team ahead of Australia at number 20. Egypt has been in two Fifa World Soccer Cups(1934 and 1990) and has won continental titles in  1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010.        Other sports played in modern egypt are squash,tennis,netball  and even golf.When Ancient Egypt was around people played wrestling and javelin to keep fit.Javelin was also used as a practice for hunting animals aswell. Murals and paintings found have told archaeologists this. In Ancient Egypt they also did water activities such as rowing and swimming.
